The word for paper in Irish is páipéar, pronounced paw-pear.
We are lifelong paper and stationery enthusiasts.
Enveloped by nature and wildlife (we love a good stationery pun), Pawpear HQ is nestled among the rolling hills of Knockanore, Co. Waterford.
DESIGN LED
Pawpear was founded in the summer of 2022 by designer and illustrator, Kim Whyte.
Kim spent years working as a stationery designer in London and her fascination with paper has permeated every aspect of her life – from collecting notepaper as a child, to running origami workshops and writing letters to family and friends.

The Pawpear stationery range celebrates Ireland’s indigenous language, native flora, and remarkable landscape through bold colour and vibrant illustration.

We are very proud to work with Irish suppliers, printers and binders – most of which are family-run businesses.
SUSTAINABLY SOURCED
We only work with suppliers that source paper from sustainably managed forests and our packaging is either PEFC certified, recycled, or brown bin compostable.
